Cooking Contest: Cabbage Manchuria by Vijaya Kandi




Main ingredients

1 medium sized cabbage – finely grated
1 tea spoon of Chilli sauce
2-3 tea spoons of Soya sauce
2 tea spoons of Plain flour
3-4 tea spoons of Corn flour
Salt according to taste
Oil for Frying

Garnishing

2 cloves of Garlic – finely chopped
1 green chilli – finely chopped
1 spoon of finely chopped coriander
0.5 (half) spoon of Soya sauce

Mix all above main ingredients and make into small lemon sized balls. Deep fry them and keep them aside on a kitchen towel to drain the extra oil.

Take a spoon full of oil in a wok and heat it. When the oil is hot, add green chillies and the chopped garlic. When they are fried, add the Soya sauce and add the deep fried Manchuria and mix well so that the sauce is evenly coated over the Manchuria. Garnish it with the coriander and serve hot
